Burdett celebrates Marvelous Me

Burdett School held a "Marvelous Me" Day on Thursday, April 1 for all of the school's Grade 4 to Grade 9 students.
Students selected from a number of sessions in which they could participate, all of them geared towards self improvement.
There were 12 different sessions offered in all presented by an array of talented people. They included "What's in the Way", a session about overcoming life's obstacles; "Girl Talk", about self-image for females; "Bang on the Drum All Day", where students learned to play a variety of types of drums and "Equine Knowledge", where the world of horses was explored.
The day began at 9 a.m. and continued until 3 p.m.
